History was one of the prime optional subjects. In 1980, BA programme was opened and History was one among the Pass subjects. Activities of the Department A Seminar was organised on National Education Day dt. Nov 11, 2016 in collaboration with Department of History. Dr. P.K.Majumdar was the Chief Guest. Dr. Sankar Prasad Mohanty delivered the key note address. Miss Rutuparna Mohanty acted as another resource person-cum-coordinator in the seminar.
